Spring rain makes our roses bloom.
Waters the earth and creates that smell of wet soil. Sending us the signal that winter is OVER!! yippee.
Reminds me to get in the shower...clean myself and get moving. Lots of events this spring, but I'm staying present and enjoying each precious day.
Eating more sprouts and green salads, berries and citrus fruits.
1. drink more water.
2. increase your fruits & vegetables
3. increase whole grains
4. find physical activity you enjoy and do it regularly.
5. fill your life with healthy relationships that support you.

Here's me walking and enjoying the views in Montana...stepping out our long driveway from the beautiful cabin where we stayed. It was so peaceful and serene....I'd take those steps any day. Maybe minus my goofy red hat! I think I left my fashion sense in Jersey.
I hope you are taking steps towards good health and eating more greens. If your salad groove hasn't been on for awhile... try some new salad dressings. Bolthouse Farms was kind enough to send me samples of their new, light and healthy salad dressings.
Last night I wasn't feeling like making a full on salad, so I just chopped up some veggies and dipped them into the Raspberry Merlot Vinaigrette. It was so easy, delicious, and crunchy. I think I'll be doing this more often and reaching for more veggies while I'm cooking dinner...instead of empty calories of pretzels or crackers. Eating the vegetables and dipping them into a small amount of dressing made it fun and visually appealing. Sometimes it's all about the presentation of food that makes a difference.
